People love knowing that we appreciate their efforts. A simple expression of gratitude, a token of that appreciation, can create bonds of friendship and a culture of teamwork among the people in our lives, co-workers, colleagues, leaders, friends and loved ones. A simple gesture I have used throughout my career that's cost effective and considered to be special by those who have received them is to give out rocks that say 'You rock!' on them.
