Bridges, not Walls

I don't know about you, but the news lately is disturbing to me. It's hard to believe this civil unrest is happening in the United States of America. What has happened to this land of the free and home of the brave?

I can't begin to understand what it feels like to be a person of color, wondering if your friend or family member will make it home at the end of the day, or needing to have "the talk" with your children as they reach a certain age to be educated on the rules for engagement to surviving in a white America.

I encourage us all to support an end to the injustices that divide us as brothers and sisters in humankind, and to do so safely and respectfully.

If this pandemic teaches us nothing else, it has taught us about our interconnectedness and the role we each play in the health and safety of our planet.

Our votes in November could not be more vitally important. Choose love, not hate. Peace be with you...
